Midnight's Crisis

How fascinating midnight, for I was indeed in my timely motion, thinking of what I be in another 10 years. Time of time - just another sour taste of life with no subtle slot to find, with the least of intelligent, itself and acknowledging his stance. And so I too was here, taking thinking tools to create a versatile and profound foundation of me, trying to lose anxiety and fear.

"What am I for?"

"Why am I like this?"

"Where will I be?"

"How will I be?"

"Who will I be?"

Strike 2, a glazing from a dimming light had knocked me off these questions. Wait! This I found quite interesting. If I could be knocked off, I too could go back to where I was. Speaking existentially, the question of where will I be, with it, here I am! and I will be in my dream too! Then, I took my blessing disguise to create myself in an empty and free dream. Free of reality, I guess so.

I saw myself in there. I was sitting, of fresh but sullen dreamland, quite cozy, oh catly cozy. Yes! I thought I should have a thousand of cats. Then, came them, a thousand of cats, wiggling tails at me, how surreal. One sat on my dreamland and I asked him, while I pet him, of how lucky he being a cat! With a mind like mine, I had no regards of being a human. I was afraid of this, I hated that, oh I liked this one, but I can't have it - because people hated it. So, I had none of what I want then? I thought so. But you? You're just a cat. Let a human lay his hands on you and pet you as if there's no jungle of notes to discover! As if, as if there's no river of doubts to clean! No midnight's crisis! You're free from these questions!

And he looked at me. Like a panther with black veils but almost like a lion, angry one. He said,

"Have you not been eating good spicy chicken shawarma at Farouq? Kid, I've been trying to find good foods for my kittens since yesterday. Think again."

Oh, you witty mindful cat. I am sorry.

Future: A Winding Road

Assalamualaikum and greetings, young hearts!

On the 1st of April, 2015, Good and Services Tax (GST) has been officially implemented in Malaysia. All registered businesses may charge 6% GST on their services/goods/products.

Of course, there was no guarantee that GST implementation will receive local supports. It's natural that people do not want to pay extra money for tax. Paying less would be better. As for me, I say, taxes are important. Although, for this one, the implementation was a little bit not okay. The system has yet to find its place in this country.

However, worst comes to worst, we have to deal with it for now. Though, I found few have given up in Malaysia due to this. Frankly speaking, this is not

MISI Broga Expedition

Assalam and greetings people.

Not normal for me to update my blog after months, days and nights of unattended blogging quests. Which means, today I'll tell a tale of me and my club-mates, ditching our morning kiss of comfy bed and set a journey full of chemistry and physics. Just kidding bout those science subjects. But we were in a great chemistry!

Anyway, the journey to Broga Hill *ba dumm tss*

There were 10 of us; 9 in a car, 1 on a motorcycle. On a blissful Friday morning at 4.30 am, we went to Broga Hill at Semenyih from IIUM Gombak. I drove big car for the first time in forever. *play Anna's song here* It was a heart attack for me. I don't like big car.

Anyway, we used GPS since none of us know the exact route to Broga Hills even there were 2 among us, have been there before. As expected, I blamed the GPS for creating confusion, thus leaded me to a strange path. We're lost. But there's no giving up yaw, and of course, there's no other choice. We have to follow the GPS.

Alhamdulillah, after quite hell of bumpy ride, we've arrived at Broga Hill around 5.10 am. All safe and sound! After du'a, we set our quest to retrieve the ring of Sauron.

Like a romance story, there are no story without a hiccup. One of our mate felt like she need a rest. Apparently, this young lady didn't have enough sleep beforehand, plus not having his meal too. Ouch. We were a bit in dilemma, either to pursue the dream of 'My Precious' or to return and come again later. One of our mate gave her the motivation she needs, and also a bun to give her an energy kick.

This was made as her motivation. A better view if she keeps on moving forward.
Around 6.30 am, we stopped and performed our Subuh prayer together. Yeay! Who says you can't have a journey full of bless and tranquil?

Not sure bout the timing. After Subuh picture. A view from our pit stop.
The pit stop was not a checkpoint, rather a spacious place for us to rest and pray. Anyway, inside joke. After the girl performed her prayer, she said, she felt a little bit more relaxed. Then someone replied, sujud more! And I laughed. I don't know, it was a simple joke but not so joking. Well, a bit lah. Okay fine, I was the only one who take that as a joke hahahaha.

The first checkpoint was quite near to the pit stop. Just a few step ahead, we're there! 1st checkpoint, accomplished. 3 of us needed some rest, so they stayed. Another 7 continued to conquer the 2nd checkpoint, which was also the last one!

Journey to 1st checkpoint.
Huzza! 2nd checkpoint conquered. Alhamdulillah. After those struggles, really, we made it! The views were MashaAllah. Really beautiful, much awesomeness, felt like I wanna flip hairs, but I don't have long hairs.

6 of us, another one enslaved as photographer. Lol.

From the highest checkpoint.
I guess they found a monkey, which is me.

Here's a selfie for you.
We all need peer support.

9 of us w/o Teha.
There you go. A journey made possible. Anyway, remember the ring of Sauron? We didn't manage to get it. It was the sunrise that we wanted to see the most. But the sunrise we built among us are far much brighter and beautiful than that. :D Much kisses from me.

Thanks!

Post Counseling

Assalamualaikum and greetings.

Before I begin my short and long writings, may I take this brief chance to wish you readers Happy New Year 2015. Year 2014 has passed and a new chapter begins, waiting to be designed by creative and innovative architect, modeled by young minds of engineer, write by hands of writers, and of course, you and me!

Now, let's continue from there.

For the past few days, I have been in depression and developed high level of anxiety due to a recurring event that was not intended. I missed my examination paper. It was frustrating, as I have it written down, alarm set and yet I overslept.

Because I don't want depression to eat my emotion from the inside, I went to get myself a counseling. I have it prepared but something happened, and I accepted that it was my fault. Something in this world is beyond our control. It was written, fated in another way, it teaches us. Allah has put us in a jumpy ride and feed us with tests, and I was reminded by Him. Sometimes, we need an alarm to wake us up.

Nevertheless, I love this subject very much. It's Expository Writing subject and definitely, I don't want to fail it. In advance, I have written an appeal letter and sent it to the deputy dean. I'm waiting for a response; perhaps in the beginning of next semester. I need your prayers, hoping that my appeal is accepted.

With this, I assure you, either results - yes and no from the deputy dean, I will be Superman. A no won't make me feel sad. Well, of course, a bit but I'll be strong. I'll phoenix my way up and burn a grade A for that paper!

Bismillah and Ameen.

So, pray for me? *wink wink* :D

Love Ourselves

Assalam.

I would like to quote 3 lines from a poem written by Derek Walcott.

"You will love again the stranger who was your self.
Give wine. Give bread. Give back your heart
to itself, to the stranger who has loved you."

Mind is a great tool for human. Use it in compliment with brain. Brain owns by a body. So, who has full control of a mind?
The brain's master.

Sesuatu yang Pasti

"Every soul will taste death. And We test you with evil and with good as trial; and to Us you will be returned."

Assalamualaikum readers...

MATI...
Siapa mampu menduga saat nafasnya terhenti?
atau sembunyi tatkala Izrail datang?
Ahh...

Benarlah.

:'( Tutuplah buku hidup seekor anak kucing. Semoga kau baik-baik di sana, sayangku.

The mother of the kitten keep on meowing til now...

Tobacco Fever?

Assalam and greeting dearest homosapien, cats and ghosts.

Prior to the World Tobacco Day on last 31st of May, 2013, I would like to point out my views on this mad smoking fever issue that has been haunting us for over 10 billion years. Well, that's a lil bit exaggerating.

And please, ladies are not an exception. Last few days, I witnessed myself, a lady smoking in a car. This matter is general.

Now, what makes me wonder, why is the price of cigarettes keep on increasing year by year? Tapi kalau berkesan, kenapa harga rokok naik lagi? Well, I rest my case on this one.

Fikir balik. Does it matter kalau harga rokok naik? Imagine if you're a criminal, does it matter if there's more jails? Imagine if you're a food onomnom-ers, does it matter if the price of Ice-Cream Goreng at pasar malam increase from RM2.30 to RM3.00? Money is definite but it is concrete. By concrete, it's easily produced over time. To some smokers, increment of the price of cigarettes won't affect them.

My sis stated in her article in NST, Dr. Zahirah(an active member of Malaysian Women's Action For Tobacco Control and Health(MyWatch) has said,
"Increasing the price of cigarettes would not solve the problem as smokers would still buy."

Fikir balik. Berapa peratus orang tengok iklan-iklan ni? Kalau tinggi, tanya balik. Berapa banyak yang terkesan dengan iklan-iklan ni? Does it matter? The best thing bout smokers are their determination. Not even prices nor advertisement would affect their smoking habit. I can prove it. No one can help you but yourself.

Teringat pulak dengan video latest Matlutfi, 'Sebelah Sayap'. Kepada yang belum tengok, mohon cepat-cepat open new tab sekarang, and search. Dari video tu, kita tau, hope and fear tak dapat dipisahkan.

Now tengok balik usaha dalam mengurangkan kadar perokok tegar. Both of these have the essence of FEAR.

Ya, anda boleh lihat aku back up mereka yang baik. Kawan aku sendiri cakap, walaupun dia merokok, tak mungkin dia ajar kawan lain merokok. Dulu pernah sekali, kawan kat sekolah offer rokok. Alhamdulillah, aku tak ambik. Kadang-kadang kita pandang sebelah mata. Sebelah mata lagi cucuk guna garfu macam dalam cerita P.Ramlee. Tau la mata tu tak cantik macam mata Juhi Chawla atau pun Kajol. Jangan judge mereka dengan bias. Bila dah dua-dua cucuk mata sebelah, tinggal kucing tepuk tangan, berak kat kedai jual rokok.
Hate the sin, not the sinner.
Kalau mampu buat iklan bahaya rokok, buat iklan cara-cara berhenti rokok jugak. Kalau mampu naikkan harga rokok, turunkan harga pil untuk smoking addiction. Kalau mampu buat komuniti benci rokok, buat komuniti yang bantu perokok berhenti merokok.

Kepada perokok pula, keep on trying to stop smoking. Not to try is absolutely wrong but to try is indeed a noble way. Berhenti merokok memang susah. My dad was once a smoker and he stopped. Didn't have the guts to ask him why, but I'm sure he stopped smoking because he love himself, his family and his health. To stop smoking has never been an easy job but it is achievable.

Anyway, terpulang la kepada korang nak judge rokok ataupun perokok ataupun pembuat rokok. But I like this statement, "The one who create cigarettes are the real killer".

Selamat bermain dengan kucing. Sekian. Peace no war.

p/s : Jangan cucuk mata guna garfu. Kalau dah letih sangat ada dua mata, please donate it.

Semester 3 Strategic Planning

Assalamualaikum and Greetings earth folks

Today marks the first day of Semester 3 of my Degree. There's nothing much to say bout what should I do or what I want to do next because every semester, the same thing will be done. Study study study...

Unfortunately, my result on last semester was incredibly stupidly hideous. Never once in my life, I get that kind of result. I was shocked and speechless. So, I did my own postmortem after punching a wall and mourn for two days.

Last semester, I was pretty busy and I don't blame that schedule. I was busying myself with wrong activities. I play games hard, goof around like nobody else and I'm in my own world. I don't even know why am I so lazy last sem and it kills me right now, knowing how stupid I was.

So, this semester I did some changes. First thing first, I deleted some games. Goodbye DotA, HoN, RO2, and etc. Second, knowing my priority. With schedule or without one, if I can't discipline myself to follow my priority, any of my planning will be useless. Next, rearrange my schedule. Intensive strategic schedule! No good schedule, no time management.

Please o please, I don't want to blame anybody else. My mistake is my responsibility and I'm confronting it with full head-on from now on.

O Allah, please guide me to be a better muslim scholar. Amin..

Greetings 2013

Assalamualaikum and Greetings dear beloved human.

Today marks the first date, 1st January of 2013. Goodbye 2012 and 2013 Happy New Year peeps!

Basically, every new year, people will start to think of what is their target for this year. I want more foods, I want to be awesome, I want to get slim, I want that and I want this. There's so much things that you want for this new year and yes, that's good for you. However, have you ever ask yourself, whether last year's target is achieved or not?

Yes and No is just a word and so is stating your target. What I mean is, target is futile when it's too possible or too impossible. We tend to do something which is not based on priority because procrastination is there. I don't have a specific example but I do hope you know what I mean.

My target for last year is not achieved but I can say that the progress is 10% achieved. Last year, I want to live up on my own expectations and believe on myself for I am who I am. So this year, I'm going to continue with that target, to live up on my own expectations.

How did I set my target?
1. Long-term target
2. Realistic
3. Beneficial
4. Productive over time

The most important one is long-term target. I can keep on moving forward with that target continuously even if I'm aging.

Well, that's just a suggestion. Mind do it your way if you find it easy. : )

Anyway, Happy New Year again.

Earphone

Assalamualaikum and greetings beloved readers

How does the world treat you today? Are you happy with yourself? Are you angry with someone? Asked these kind of questions to uncover lots of mysteries that's supposed to be unfolded.

But what will you do if you have the answers? Will your acts satisfy you? Enough with these questions. Sometimes, all you wanna do it keep silent and be yourself. Isn't it? For me, 'sometime' is not enough but 'everytime' is. Everytime in my life, I just wanna be in my own world. I want to be immersed in the world where I don't need to do anything just to get to people's expectations. All I wanted is silent and peace. One of the most effective way is putting an earphone on my ears.

When I wear earphone, all I ever think about is complete ignorance. By wearing one, even if I hear someone's calling me, my sense of ignorance tells me that all external sounds are neglected. It's not that I wanna be alone, all I ever wanted is something that could keep me in my own phase. Everytime, people are going to give you expectations and the worst part is they never know how to give expectation. All they know is to get pleasure out of the result of their expectation. Sometimes, you never know that an expectation can become a very severe burden. My logic tells me that for every minutes, people expect you to do something to impress them. Have you ever feel that way? If you're not, then you're lucky enough. In my world, I'm not myself, I have to cope with expectations and I can't even get a simple request for myself.

My last resort is to use earphone. Wear it, Hear nothing or Play a song, Be nothing.

PEACE : )

Troubleshoot?

Assalamualaikum and greetings

Living around with lots of different peoples is very challenging. There's a twisted fate in every human where they won't find a perfect place to live just by themselves. Human can't live alone, so they had to confront different types of peoples, live in diversity and blend with the community.

So, which types do you like? Loving, kind, helpful and lots more. To list it down with lots of 'flowers' and 'love heart' is too rhetoric. I wouldn't mind if you want to, but it isn't easy.

For me, instead of reminding myself to search those types of people, I prefer to avoid these types of people.

  1. Stupid : They're so clever in making decision. They don't even care of other's feeling, thoughts, ideas and as much as I concern, they're selfish.
  2. Badass : Taking credits of other's works. Easy life eh?
  3. Killing machine : They use you when they need you. Well of course, when you're nothing, then you're no use to them. Goodbye then.
  4. Monkey : They're differences between annoying among friends and annoying in the middle of wanders. Don't agree or understand? Try to see monkey among themselves and then get one monkey among human.
  5. Hantu : Anything you don't like. You define it yourself.

Why do I choose to avoid instead of searching good qualities? You may call me pessimist but please remember this idiom,
"Prevention is better than cure."
People goof around being to defenseless,  being too optimist, hoping for the one to be as good as they expected. When the 'expected' are not as good as what they expect, they'll start to throw a tantrum, mad, angry, and unsatisfied with that particular person.

What I propose, is a new way where you expect, evaluate then you accept. Instead of accepting someone blindly, be prepared for any unwanted bad qualities. You may do the same thing to me cause I can't guarantee what qualities are with me. That's why preparation is needed. Instead of blaming for choosing the wrong person, be defensive. Just for your own good. : )
